Christopher R. Smith

Mr. Smith is the founder and CEO of Allegiance Realty Corporation. He has over 20 year’s of real estate investment, finance, management, brokerage, commercial construction and consulting experience. Mr. Smith has been a principal in more than 40 projects valued in excess of $1 billion including office, hotel, industrial, residential and retail. He was the co-founder and president of American Property Global Partners, the forebearer to Allegiance Realty Corporation. In 2009 Chris was appointed by the Governor to the North Carolina Banking Commission.
Tagg Romney

Tagg founded Solamere Capital in 2008. His operating experience includes serving as Chief Marketing Officer for the Los Angeles Dodgers, VP of on-field marketing at Reebok, and Director of Strategic Planning at Elan Pharmaceuticals. Tagg founded and subsequently sold Season Perks, a company that provided value-added private label online services for professional sports teams. Tagg worked for each of his father's three political campaigns (Romney for Senate, for Governor, and for President). He also worked as a consultant for Monitor Group and McKinsey and Co. Tagg graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Eric Scheuermann
Eric founded Solamere Capital with Tagg Romney and Spencer Zwick. Eric has 10 years of direct private equity investing experience, and 8 years of advisory experience in law, strategy consulting, finance and accounting, much of it focused on private equity investments. As a Partner at Jupiter Partners, he sourced and led investments for Jupiter’s investment fund, and additionally sourced and led a recent investment for a syndicate whose largest limited partner is Goldman Sachs. Eric serves on the Board of Directors of APX Alarm, the country’s third largest installer of residential security systems, and Oracle Elevator, a leading independent elevator services company. Eric graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, was an Editor of the Harvard Law Review, and afterward was selected by Chief Justice William Rehnquist of the U.S. Supreme Court as one of his three law clerks. He was Valedictorian of the University of Notre Dame’s undergraduate College of Business, graduating summa cum laude with a B.B.A. in Accounting. Prior to becoming a principal investor in 1998, Eric was an engagement manager for the business consulting firm McKinsey & Company and an M&A attorney for Latham & Watkins. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the Bars of the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania. Eric and his wife Jennifer have one son.
